Let’s start with the outside. The Shelby’s aggressive exterior design is complemented by a shiny coat of white paint with a red racing stripe down the middle, red accents, and a rear spoiler. Its wheels, while common to the Shelby model, can hardly be called “stock”. The interior is equipped with leather-trimmed sport bucket seats with racing stripes coordinated with the exterior color. Features include satellite radio capability, Microsoft Sync, electronic dash, leather seats, navigation, and much more.
While these features are certainly impressive, you’re probably wondering what’s under the hood. The Shelby includes a 5.4-liter 4V supercharged aluminum block V8 engine which achieves a jaw-dropping 550 horsepower. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission for ultimate control both in the city and country roads.

Portland Auto Dealer: 2012 Ford Explorer Provides Great Value For Families
For the last two decades, the Ford Explorer has been one of the top-selling midsize SUVs on the market with its fantastic versatility,
interior comfort, and great design. In the latest version, the iconic Ford model will include the most innovative engine on the market: the 2.0-liter Ford EcoBoost engine.
As Car and Driver reports in their first test drive, the Explorer provides a very different experience than other EcoBoost-loaded Ford models like the smaller Ford Edge crossover. It draws about 240 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque, which is nothing to laugh at in a 4-cylinder model. Due to the Explorer’s greater weight and length – with 7 seats and nearly 13 inches longer in length than the Edge – it doesn’t quite have the same “zip” of the Edge and smaller EcoBoost models. It does result in a nice increase in fuel economy, however, with a best-in-class 28 highway MPG.
The ultimate conclusion has the 2012 Explorer as a much improved version of the family vehicle we have always known and loved. While the Edge is likely a better fit for small families who often tow boats or other loads, the Explorer is the ideal option for families with children completing everyday tasks of taking children to school and hauling groceries.

The 2013 Ford Escape has been talked about for months as a highly-anticipated crossover-style redesign will be implemented. As the Ford Story reports, it’s 
what’s under the hood. it’s what’s under the hood that will make the 2013 Escape a true break-though.
So what is under the hood? The 2013 Escape will feature 3 different Ecoboost engine options, the most ever offered in a Ford SUV. The first is the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder model which offers a great combination of power and fuel economy, and the second is the 2.5-liter Ti-VCT four-cylinder. The most surprising and innovative option, however, is the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder Ecoboost, which is being offered in the U.S. for the first time and is expected to achieve even higher fuel economy than the 31-MPG Ford Escape Hybrid.
Also making headlines is the highly anticipated front-wheel-drive Ford C-MAX hybrid. It was just announced that the model will feature an impressive 500-mile driving range using the battery and engine, which is more than any other plug-in hybrid or extended-range vehicle on the market. The C-MAX Hybrid will be available along with the C-MAX Energi plug-in in North America next year.

Portland Ford Dealer: Fiesta ST Concept Looks Poised For Production
Wondering what Ford has in store for its small car lineup? Look no further than the Fiesta ST concept, which is making headlines left and right and looks 
poised for production. Introduced at the 2011 IAA Frankfurt Motor Show, the ST was designed as a smaller version of the upcoming Focus ST, a performance version of the popular 2012 Ford Focus.
The Fiesta ST is a natural extension of the over-achieving Fiesta, and features muscular and sporty exterior styling along with a high-performance powertrain found in high-end models. Under the hood lies a 1.6-liter Ecoboost engine which achieves nearly 180 horsepower and 177 Ib-ft. of torque. This results in a 0-60 MPH time of under 7 seconds with a top speed of approximately 136 MPH, a very impressive line for a vehicle of this size.
