New Ford Cars: A Preview of the 2012 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet
The Mustang has been a favorite Ford vehicle since its first appeared on the road. Recent years have seen upgrades including new engines and modifications inside and out. Honoring this tradition, Ford’s racing division has released it’s own versions of racing Mustangs. Read more about it in a recent article by Motor Authority.
The Ford Mustang Cobra Jet is an exhilarating redesign ready for drag strips. Almost a turnkey drag car, the Cobra Jet is built specifically to race in the NHRA Stock and Super Stock racing classes.
Upgraded with full race-prepared automatic or manual transmissions, drag race-specific shocks and springs, manual steering and brakes, and a fully certified roll cage, a 5.4-liter supercharged engine has Manley H-beam rods, and will be accompanied by black anodized wheels from Weld Racing.

New Ford Cars: Mustang Customized By Funkmaster Flex For 2010 SEMA
An exciting article by world car fans.com shared that celebrities and Ford enthusiasts, Funkmaster Flex and Snoop Dog, showed off their customized Ford Mustang at the 2010 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Signing autographs at the Ford booth and on hand to unveil their creation, both stars were relaxed and smiling as they greeted their fans.
The specially tuned Mustang has Snoop Dog’s name emblazoned across the windshield and delivers debonair style with features like custom smoked taillights from Team Baurtwell, a body kit from 3dCarbon and 3-piece billet wheels from NC Forged. Also included was a suspension upgrade, Steeda lowering kit along with new sway bars and springs and high-end Baer brakes.
A long time custom car enthusiast in his Brooklyn-based workshop, Funkmaster Flex’s creative efforts have previously reworked the Ford Explorer, Fiesta, Flex and Taurus SHO models. Here’s hoping we get a first-hand look at the these swanky vehicles at the upcoming 2011 Portland Auto Show in January!

New Ford Cars: Nine 2011 Ford Mustangs Showcased At SEMA Show in Las Vegas

The stylings took on a funky flavor with the special guest teams invited to participate in reworking the custom Mustangs including Funkmaster Flex and Team Baurtwell, MRT, Creations n’ Chrome, Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, Mobsteel, Raceskinz, Street Scene Equipment and Tjin Edition.
